Winter Protection

It's easy to forget to protect your car surfaces for winter. Road salt, winter grime and harsh weather can all take it's toll on both the exterior and interior of your car.

A wide range of products are available to protect your paintwork, including waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings. They all have different merits, costs and durability. 

Typically we opt for a ceramic alloy wheel coating which is the most durable and copes best with the heat generated by the braking system. However, we can offer a dedicated wax based option which is blended with other chemicals to protect the wheels. 

Visibility is key on the darker nights. A glass sealant or ceramic will disperse the water off the glass, often meaning you can drive without or with reduced wiper use. This also helps on the rear windscreen for reversing, side windows and wing mirrors. This type of protection also reduces how much the frost and snow can bond, meaning defrosting to start your journey is much quicker. 

Protect your fabric from rain water, salt, mud and general dirt brought into the vehicle. This makes it easier to clean and looking good, with the risk of stains vastly reduced. 

In much the same way, as fabrics, its important to keep leather cleaned and protected to reduce undue wear, dirt being rubbed in and also to aid against UV damage (with the sun often lower in the sky during winter it can often reach sections it doesn't in summer). 

Restoring your headlights ensures maximum light is omitted, giving you the optimal vision needed on cold, wet winter nights. Machine polishing techniques are used to do this and then we protect the finish with a ceramic coating, as required.
